Aggressive & High needs dogs
We offer walks for dogs with behavioral issues such as dog aggressive, anxiety, separation issues and more. Dogs with these issues are more than welcome at Perfect Paws, our meet and greet will take longer and may require more than one visit before walks, as keeping your dog and myself safe is always our top priority
Pet sitting
Going away? Let your pets stay in the comfort of their own home with our professional pet sitting services. We care for them from moment you leave to the moment you come back, giving them the love and attention they deserve. Pet sitting includes but are not limited to, 1-2 walks per day, feeding times, medication, daily updates, mail collection, plant watering and lots of love and attention
Dog walking
Walks are very important for dogs, and sometimes our schedules and lives, get in the way from giving them the walks they need. We are here to help with that, we have a range of walks types and walk times including 30, 45, 60 & 90 minute solo walks, and hour long pack walks. Solo walks are great for dogs who don't like walking with other dogs, aren't dog social or just love having the attention on them at all times. Pack walks are great for dogs who are dog social and need socialization with other dogs their size and temperment
Puppy & kitten care
Having a puppy or kitten can be hard especially when you have work and are gone for long hours. We offer a 30 minute check in, this includes but is not limited to potty breaks and clean up, playtime, feeding and lots of attention. This is not only a great option to break up the long periods of alone time but also helps desensitize your pet to new people coming in their home
Small animal care
Do you need petcare while your away, but don't need someone to spend the night and give constant attention? This is a great option for small independant pets who only need feeding, at some reassurance someone will be there once or twice a day, this also includes mail collection & plant watering
Dog wash
Does giving your dog a bath sometimes get forgotten about? You are not alone, and we're here to help! This service will give your dog a good scrub with professional grade dog wash, remove dirt and as much of their shedding as possible, and a blow dry so your pet comes home feeling and smelling beautiful. This service can be added onto any pre existing booking as a once off or regular, with a minimum of 24 hours notice, add on a dog wash to any service for an additional $40
About me & why I started Perfect Paws
I started Perfect Paws Pet Care because of my sisters dog. He was severely abused before she rescued him, and because of that he is extremely dog reactive, nervous and is very hard to walk. My sister has found it very difficult to have the energy after a long day at work, to walk such a strong anxious dog, and that made me realise that this is a common problem for dog owners; long days at work, strong forceful dogs and a world of unknown things that could happen on a walk. There are so many reasons why walking your dog yourself is hard, exhausting or simply not possible, and its nothing to be ashamed about, I'm here to help you and your dog live the best life possible.
I have a level 4 animal healthcare qualification, where i was trained in dog and cat behaviors, pet first aid, nutrition and the care of small animals. I have also worked in a dog daycare, where I learnt a range of dog management skills.
When I'm not working with dogs or working on admin things, I love to hangout with my friends, family and cat. I also love to painting, crafts, go thrift shopping and trying new recipes.
